Garlic Bread


Cheese and Herbs Garlic Bread






Ingredients:


500 gms plain flour
1 1/2 tsp  salt
80 gms mozzarella cheese
2 tsp dried yeast ( 7 gms packet)
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp dry thyme
2 tbsp snipped chives
2-3 tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp basil
125 ml warm water
250 ml warm water
2 tbsp milk

Garlic Butter:

2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tbsp cheese
2 tbsp minced garlic

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

Mix the yeast and sugar in a  cup, add the 125ml of warm water and stir together. let sit for 5 minute.

Mix flour,herbs and salt in a  bowl, then dump in yeast mix and stir until a soft dough forms,

kneed until dough is smooth and elastic.

cover the bowl and place in a warm for one hour or let dough doubled in size.




Garlic Butter

In a bowl add cheese,butter,black pepper,minced garlic mix well.



As shown below cut into small portion and spread it 3/4 inch width and apply garlic butter into each layer and transfer to baking tray




Bake it for 415 F,  25-30 mins (Check from 20 mins for doneness) 





                                               Serve immediately brush some melted butter 


                                                    Enjoy with guacamole

                                      Fish Curry -Meen Kuzhambu  INGREDIENTS Fish – ½ kg,medium size pieces Mustard seeds – 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp onion – 1 Tomato-1 chili powder – 2 tbsp Coriander powder – 1½ tbsp Turmeric powder – ½ tsp puli/tamarind pulp  – 1/2 cup (Soak tamarind in half a cup of hot water) Curry leaves Salt oil Method:          Heat oil in a pan(meenchatti),Add Mustard seeds,Fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves             Add chopped onions  Cook on a high flame till onions are golden brown,Add Chopped Tomato,green chilies Add All spices turmeric powder,Chili powder,Coriander powder,required salt When oil separates add  tamarind pulp and Bring it to a boil               Add fish pieces and cook on a medium flame for 7-8 minutes with lid on or till the fish is done.           The fish will cook faster so be careful not to break the pieces,
