Wheat bread
Ingredients:
- wheat flour 450 grams
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Yeast 3/4 tsp
- Sugar 3 tbsps
- Oil 3 tbsps
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Water 1/2 cup as reqd
Method:
- Add milk,water together and heat up until it reaches LUKEWARM
- Add yeast,sugar to the milk mixture and keep aside for 15 mints
- Mix flour,salt and oil into the yeast mixture
- Important part knead into a soft dough for 15 mintz (yes 15 mintz)
- keep aside in an oiled bowl and cover it with cling wrap for 1 hr or dough double in size
- once it proofed just give it love punch onto it and knead it 2 mintz
- Make tight log.place dough into the greased loaf tin for 1 hr almost reach double in size
- Preheated oven 325F and bake for 35 to 40 mintz
- Take the pan out from the oven and apply butter on the top
- Remove from oven and allow it to cool on wire rack
- When the bread is fully cooled,slice and serve.
Note:
- You can use 50:50 all purpose flour :wheat flour
- Feel free to add 1 egg for even more soft
- If your are using instant yeast, may skip yeast to active
- Do not let bread sit in the pan too long,3 mintz should be fine ,because bottom side of the bread may go soggy
