Naan without yeast in stove top |
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour : 3 cups,
- Baking powder: ½ tsp, (optional)
- Baking soda: ¼ tsp,
- Salt: 1 tsp,
- Sugar: 1 tbsp,
- Milk: ½ cup,
- Yogurt (curd): 3 tbsp,
- Oil: 3 tbsp,
Water:around 1 cup
Instructions:
- In a bowl mix together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- mix them together.In another bowl mix milk, sugar, yogurt, oil and water.
- Knead a soft dough and Rub little oil on the dough, cover it and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes take little dough rounds and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes roll the dough with dry flour.
- Heat Tawa at medium heat and put the naan on tawa and add garlic and close with lid,Wait till you see some bubbles on naan.Now put the naan on the stove and put the naan upside down on the stove holding with spoon.
- Cook for few second till you see brown spots on naan.
Naan is ready.
